Objectives:

This course is meant to be a Special Topics course in Cryptography. The objective of this course is to develop an in depth knowledge and understanding of new results and current trends in the field. A set of advanced topics would be covered depending on instructor's expertise and interests. The course is aimed to impart skills for carrying out research in the area of Cryptography.

Syllabus

Contents may vary based on the instructor's expertise and interests within the broader area of Cryptography. Examples include multiparty computation, leakage resilient cryptography, broadcast encryption, fully homomorphic encryption, obfuscation, functional encryption, zero knowledge, private information retrieval, byzantine agreement, cryptography against extreme attacks etc.
