| Abstract: | : | In this talk, we will discuss our ongoing research and teaching in the field of high-speed computer networks. We will discuss our intelligent optical network project funded by the US National Science Foundation. This project includes a collaboration with IIT-Madras funded by the Indian Department of Science and Technology (DST). We will also discuss other projects funded by the US Department of Energy (DOE AI for High Energy Physics program) and the US Department of Agriculture (USDA Groundwater Monitoring Network). Finally, we will discuss undergraduate and graduate courses taught by me at UNL on advanced computer networks, optical communication networks, network security and cybersecurity for Big Data and Cloud environments (using AWS resources). |
