| Abstract: | : | This talk looks at 3D scanning when dealing with objects that are dark, or exhibiting complex shapes and spatially-varying reflectance. Handling such extreme scenarios requires novel advances in camera design as well as learning-based inference. I will talk about a recent body of work from my group that looks at novel imaging designs in the form of single photon sensors and kaleidoscopes, augmented with implicit neural representation for robust shape recovery. |
