Engineering of software systems, especially large scale distributed object systems is the major research focus of the Distributed & Object Systems lab at IIT Madras. The group is involved in research and development of enabling technologies for next generation computer applications in the areas of distributed systems, mobile computing, databases, wireless sensor networks, object oriented software engineering.
