Doctoral dissertation of C.S. Ganesh (CS12D008) titled "Design and Analysis of Optical Networking Based Data Center Network Architectures" has been selected for the Best Doctoral Dissertation Award in CSE Department for the academic year Jun 2016 to May 2017. The thesis work was guided by Krishna Sivalingam.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 20000. The thesis will also be nominated by the CSE Department, IIT Madras for the INAE Best PhD Thesis Award 2017.
