The Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) gives the
Techno Visionary Award, as a lifetime achievement award, to an Indian academician, who made significant contributions to the field of Electronics and Semiconductor through research and development. It was instituted to recognize and honour a visionary, who has over the years made seminal and path-breaking contributions in Electronics and Semiconductor domain through academics and research.
